GOER Badges

GOER Full Online Accreditation is a comprehensive quality mark for online schools, tutoring companies, hybrid providers, digital platforms, esports and alternative education organisations. It evaluates institutions across GOER’s core standards, including pedagogy, safeguarding, digital delivery, governance, wellbeing, AI integrity, sustainability, and learner outcomes. The process is rigorous yet supportive, combining document review, structured evidence evaluation, and professional dialogue to ensure that accredited providers are not only compliant, but genuinely learner-centred, ethical, and future-ready.

More than a one-off judgement, Full Accreditation is designed as a pathway for growth. Providers receive a tiered outcome — Starter, Builder, Achiever, or Pioneer — alongside clear developmental feedback and recommendations. Accredited organisations gain the right to display the GOER Full Accreditation mark, are listed on the public GOER registry, and join a global network committed to transparency, trust, and continuous improvement in online education. GOER does not simply accredit standards; it helps providers raise them.

The GOER AI Integrity Badge.

Built for a safer digital future in education — the GOER AI Integrity Badge sets the standard for ethical and transparent AI practice

The GOER AI Integrity Badge recognises online schools, tutoring companies, and educational providers that demonstrate the highest standards of ethical, transparent, and responsible use of artificial intelligence. As AI becomes increasingly embedded in teaching, learning, assessment, and student support, this badge provides reassurance to families, educators, and regulators that an institution is using these tools safely and with integrity.

Recipients of the badge undergo a structured review of their AI policies, data protection measures, educator training, and classroom practice. They must show clear evidence of safeguarding learners from misuse, maintaining academic honesty, and ensuring AI tools enhance—not replace—high-quality human teaching. The GOER AI Integrity Badge represents a commitment to trust, accountability, and the responsible innovation that is shaping the future of online education.

The GOER–Sustainability Agency & Action Badge is a formal accreditation recognising schools, hybrid providers, platforms and tutoring organisations that demonstrate a genuine and measurable commitment to environmental responsibility. Built around GOER’s pillars of environmental education, sustainable operations, student agency, and global citizenship, the badge celebrates institutions that embed sustainability into everyday practice rather than treating it as a peripheral goal.

It acknowledges providers that integrate climate literacy into the curriculum, empower students to lead meaningful action, reduce their institutional footprint, and align their values with global frameworks such as the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The accreditation is developmental and supportive, offering a structured framework for improvement while highlighting real impact and community engagement. Ultimately, the badge honours organisations that turn awareness into action — shaping environmentally conscious learners and modelling ethical, future-focused leadership in the online education sector.

Developed by the Global Online Education Regulator (GOER) in collaboration with Mischa Zverev, professional athlete and Strategic Advisor for Athlete Education & Innovation, the accreditation sets a global benchmark for how youth sport should be delivered in digital spaces. It celebrates provision that balances performance with wellbeing, inclusion, safeguarding, and long-term personal development.

This badge is awarded to schools, academies, and education providers who demonstrate excellence in coaching practice, athlete wellbeing, inclusion, and developmental pathways. Accredited organisations are recognised for placing young people at the centre of their programmes, ensuring that online sport education fosters resilience, motivation, ethical leadership, and holistic growth. The GOER–Zverev badge is not simply a mark of quality, but a commitment to raising standards globally and ensuring that sporting ambition never comes at the expense of wellbeing, integrity, or personal development.

The GOER–DEE Diversity, Ethics & Equity Badge recognises education providers that embed integrity, inclusivity, and justice into every layer of their practice. In a global digital education landscape where innovation can either reinforce inequality or dismantle it, this badge sets a clear benchmark for organisations committed to ethical leadership, equitable access, and culturally responsive learning. Developed in partnership with Alexis Toddy AlphaMore, GOER Board Member and global expert in decolonial and justice-driven education design, the DEE Badge ensures that diversity and ethics are not optional values, but foundational standards.

Accredited organisations demonstrate meaningful action across representation, governance, access, and community engagement. The DEE Badge recognises providers who translate inclusion from aspiration into measurable practice — through transparent decision-making, equitable opportunity structures, learner voice, and accountability. More than a mark of quality, the GOER–DEE Badge connects institutions to a global network committed to shaping digital education that is fair, ethical, and just by design, ensuring every learner is seen, valued, and supported.
